OUR MISSION

The Ocean Project Seychelles is a not-for-profit, non-governmental organization, that was established in November 2016 in response to the mounting threats affecting our oceans and seas. Our mission is to protect our oceans and seas through education, action and research.

THE TEAM

Co-Founder & Programme Manager

Zara is a practising attorney-at-law in Seychelles and most recently completed a Master of Environmental Law with the University of Melbourne with a focus on climate change and oceans. 

 

Karine Rassool photo
Karine Rassool
Co-Founder & Programme Manager

Karine is a fisheries economist by profession and is employed at the Seychelles Fishing Authority. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Environmental Economics and Environmental Management at the University of York.

Programme Manager

Natasha is a Magistrate of the Judiciary of Seychelles and sits on the Family Tribunal as Vice-Chairperson.
